What is Forest School?
Forest School is an inspirational process that allows kids regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment.
It has become more popular in recent years as people search for a child-focused alternative to the teacher-focused classroom environment and has become more formalised through the establishment of Forest School Associations in Ireland and the UK. Kerkus Forest School is accredited by the Irish Forest School Association (IFSA).
Our Forest School Sessions
We run weekly Forest School sessions at Deerpark Mount Merrion and the Grove Donnybrook during school terms, catering for ages from 4 - 12. More information can be found below or by clicking directly on the booking tab above. We also run Camps outside of school terms which again cater for children aged 4 - 12. Please do check out our FAQ page or contact us if you have any queries.
